Our Covenants have a number of provisions that affect the kinds of improvements that can be made to properties within North Brandon Shores. The purpose of these provisions is to establish standards for the neighborhood that will keep the neighborhood a desirable place to live and keep property values high.
The Board has established an Architectural Review committee to oversee the approval of plans and to promulgate standards for improvements within the framework of the covenants. In many cases, the Covenants do not provide specific guidance with regard to every question but rather rely on the judgment of the Association. Consistent with this approach, our Covenants rely heavily on prior approval from the Association before improvements can be made. However, the Architectural Review Committee along with the Board has developed some written guidelines that will be used in the plan approval process. These guidelines are provided here so that you can develop plans that are likely to be approved by the Association. Please see the guidelines below:
